Hello. Today’s post is on finding the perfect shade of foundation for your skin tone. Here are three tips to hopefully help you find your perfect shade.
Colour IQ
This has been previously mentioned in a blog post of mine. This is basically a free test of your skin tone done in sephora or an No7 counter at a drugstore. This is great to help save money as well as get your perfect shade of foundation in any brand you desire. I personally have tried this method and I never had to go back and change between a range of foundation shades.
Undertones
The main thing to know when choosing a foundation shade is to know your undertone. Here is an easy guide to what undertone you will have.
Testing
This is just a common used method to find your shade in foundation. You can basically test different shades close to your tone of foundation but the trick is to test it on your neck instead of your hand. sometimes our hands maybe a darker tone to our faces and so it can be misleading.
